Built as the successor to Lifeline's Service Finder, the Support Finder tool is a greatly expanded platform for use by Lifeline's call center operators, the Crisis Supporters.
This project allows a Crisis Supporter to search for support options for a caller based on feelings and keywords, then filtering by location. The search parameters are then processed by Algolia to provide a list of support options in the callers area, as well as various articles sources from other Lifeline resources to provide a support plan to the caller.
The support plan is then emailed or sent by text message to the caller, and when viewing the plan they can perform their own search based on adjusted feelings if their outlook has changed since their initial call to Lifeline.
